In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying changes reverberate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
