JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not precisely an original movie. Rather, the recent cinematic release from the Jujutsu Kaisen action franchise is a compilation of the anime's second season merged with the initial episodes of its next season, which launches the Culling Games storyline from the original manga. This establishes Execution, which has been given a new trailer, the earliest way to see the beginning of the upcoming season ahead of its January 2026 premiere. The movie premieres in Japan on Nov. 7, and in North America on Dec. 5.

The Culling Games Storyline

In the Culling Games plot, Elite sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu is introduced in the show and is assigned by jujutsu higher-ups to execute his fellow student Yuji Itadori. Their highly anticipated battle occurs for the first time on the silver screen, and if the animators at the production house have an exceptional piece as episodes 40 and 41 prepared for fans this holiday season, JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution may end up being the present that fans have anticipated.

The Thunderclap Issue

"Thunderclap" from the second season is often hailed as among the best moments in anime history, despite the significant debate in the previous year when the installments originally aired. If the production company wants to begin the year strongly, run back the anime's greatest sequence once again in cinemas with the best interpretation we've seen yet.
