Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
