Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game victorious streak came to an end by the Black Cats prior to the global break, however will the Premier League frontrunners recover against local foes Tottenham this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," remarked soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against AI, fans and a range of guests.
For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
The singer's new record, the new release, is available on Friday.
Soccer and Family Experiences
Olly is a skilled footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of multiple charity football matches down the years - but he is not planning a serious return as a player.
"{I recently played in a charity game the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!
"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have two children, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.
"I will not force football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their weekend soccer side," he added.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a period too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our side for two or three years and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from fitness issues but their attack is now more potent with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this game will be fairly close, however. The Clarets are well organised and their only home losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third league win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their previous couple games - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear competitive again.
The Hammers' only away win this campaign came at Forest in August, when their boss Nuno was still that team's manager.
Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - can the Hammers continuing their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
The guest's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their past four matches.
My son told me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
The forward will probably find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great success on the travel this season, and the Seagulls are always strong at their stadium. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's prediction: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six games.
Fulham have have lots of talent in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
Regarding Sunderland, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not witnessed any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to support the visitors here, because they are clearly able of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the end of last month.
But I am not choose that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they clearly enjoy to prove me wrong.
Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage record, the sole team they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's team will be absolutely eager for a good result, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a bad run... but they have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a hard fixture to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but might they be among the sides who benefit from the {international break|
