The Warrior Group Introduced
Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.
This warrior group includes Teor (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).
Why Split the Party?
Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.
This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.
Characteristics of the Soldiers Table
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.
At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might look out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
For one thing, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing started the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his own means, breaking into the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.
The antagonist then paid off his obligations and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Individual Reasons
Additionally, each character has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure knows the region and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
- The strong character and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their position as key figures in the powerful family could assist the group enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- Teor is marked for death by the family.
This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of the antagonist.
